I have experienced lucid dreaming many times, where I become fully aware that I am dreaming. Often, I can modify my dreams to suit my satisfaction, exploring vivid and surreal scenarios. But one recent experience stood out to me.
During the dream, I realized I was dreaming and became aware of the surrounding environment. Interestingly, I carried a memory of my real life into the dream. To test whether this real-life memory worked within the dream, I decided to break a wall to check if it was made of cement. After breaking the wall, I examined the material. It looked and felt just like cement, complete with the granular texture and scent I’d recognize from waking life.
Encouraged by this experiment, I climbed to the second floor of a building and decided to jump. Standing at the edge, I felt a mix of curiosity and excitement. There was no fear, not a single thought of hesitation. Without fear, I jumped, driven purely by the desire to know what would happen to the dream state.
As the ground approached rapidly, I wondered what would happen next. Would I hit the ground? Would the dream change? The result was unexpected—the dream ended abruptly, and I transitioned into real life. After waking up, I lost the lucid dreaming and entered a normal dream. I feel this often in my life. The world of dreaming with awareness gives a different kind of experience that I always want to dream again. I woke up with the same awareness I had in the dream. It was as if my mind had perfectly orchestrated the transition, leaving me in awe of the seamless shift between dream and reality.
Lucid dreaming continues to fascinate me, offering endless possibilities to explore the depths of consciousness. This experience, like many others, reminds me of the incredible power and creativity that dreams can unlock.
Wonderful 👌🏻
I wish you too experience the same.
